This past weekend we packed the car and headed to the cities for the MN State Fair. We really enjoy this time of year and look forward to it every summer. We left early Saturday in order to visit the St. Paul Children's Museum(fairy tales was the exhibit!) and allow Mary and I to hit up the Mall of America for a much needed shopping spree all before calling it a night at the luxurious hotel suite Dan got for his two favorite gals!! Sunday we made it to the fair around 11:30 and didn't stop eating or walking until Dan's migraine set in around 4:30. Time to go! The boys seemed to have a great time watching all the people, petting the animals and trying tasty treats. Our friends the Morgans met us there as well so it was great to share in all the fun with them. Another weekend, another road trip. We're ready to stay home and take it easy this weekend.
