Although it was the debut of the Butterfly Pavillion at the Henry Doorly Zoo, my sister Mary and I thought mid-eighties weather called for a trip to the zoo. Connor and Liam both loved watching the animals and it was nice to finally have a warm, sunny day to be outside. Overall the trip was a huge hit!!

What a ZOO!!
Yesterday Connor, Liam, my mom and I took the 9++ hour drive from Duluth to Omaha for a week long stay with my family. Who's crazy idea was that? The boys did awesome and we arrived home safely but half way Connor began complaining that his mouth hurt and hasn't stopped since. Turns out the sores all over his tongue and mouth are from hand, foot, and mouth disease. Ya, are you kidding!! (if you were around him this week keep an eye out, sorry!) He was up countless times last night unconsolably screaming in pain and barely managed to make it thru the zoo trip today before melting down all evening. It's so hard watching him in so much pain knowing there is so little I can do to ease his pain; he can't eat, he isn't sleeping and he is terribly miserable. What a promising forecast for my relazing trip home.

Unbelievable! At least you're with family and are getting some help. I hope Connor's feeling better soon. We miss you already!
